The impatient pay the patient.
Buying sets aside two percent of your ETH as a deposit, in your name, for thirty days. Hold and you take it back, plus a share of every deposit walked away from. Sell early and you lose it. Nothing else.

The ticket
You know the deposit on a glass bottle. You pay a little more than the price, you bring the bottle back, you get it back. Here the contract puts two percent of your ETH aside, with a date on it, and it stays yours the whole time.

An abandoned deposit
The base is ETH placed under the market that no path in the code can take back out. Every hurried exit raises it, and nothing lowers it.
No permission, no delay, no cap, no whitelist. There is no function in the contract that can stop a transfer, and a holder who stayed thirty days pays nothing at all on the way out.
